SABRE DOGS HOLDING BLOOD DRIVE, AUCTION FOR CHRISTMAS IN JULY JERSEYS

MINOT, ND – The Souris Valley Sabre Dogs will be returning next week from a long road trip on Monday, July 29th against the Badlands Big Sticks, with the game starting at 7:05 PM and gates opening at 6 PM. In addition to the game, the Sabre Dogs are hosting two special events on that day.

First, the Sabre Dogs are partnering with Vitalant to host a blood drive taking place from 3 PM to 6 PM just outside Corbett Field. They will having their bloodmobile right outside the stadium and will be accepting whole blood donations during the drive. Appointment slots are filling up for the event and those interested in donating are encouraged to sign up. A link to sign up can be found on the Sabre Dogs’ website.

Second, the Sabre Dogs will be hosting their Christmas in July celebration during their game. As part of the celebration, the players will be wearing special Christmas themed jerseys courtesy of Sanford Health. In addition, the jerseys will be auctioned off for fans to own themselves. From now until 9:05 PM on the night of 29th, the Sabre Dogs will be accepting bids for the jerseys. Links for more information and to bid can also be found on the Sabre Dogs website.

The proceeds for the jersey auction will go to benefit the Sanford Health Foundation’s Great American Bike Race, a stationary bike race held across North Dakota which benefits kids and young adults who live with cerebral palsy and other childhood-onset conditions that permanently affect development.
