The under-appreciated spiritual significance of Ground Hog Day, the movie, is a laughing matter and a lesson on life wrapped in one.  The actual day seems like an excuse to have a midwinter party in Punxsutawney. Fortunately, for the rest of us there is a Super Bowl.
