Some legislator who no doubt is looking for a little notoriety, threatens to introduce one of those anti-evolution bills in the legislature, if he has not already done so. Some of our educators are all “het up” about it. The Independent doesn’t know a great deal about this subject, but we suspect that it is good one to let alone and not “monkey” with it by passing any fool laws to prevent teaching the theory of evolution in our schools … We believe there are enough sensible fellows down in Bismarck who would promptly lull to sleep any such bill should it be introduced.
