Why We Chose It
A little dose of Minot’s early magic. But it’s worth wondering or tempering our awe of that moment… Would any town that was the gateway to the construction of a new civilization be any different. Which is to say, the business of “building” a place is a big early addition to all the bottom lines. But if the building does not go on forever, it must eventually fall off once the place is built. Is it possible this is the point we’re at in Minot’s history — the point after all the building is done, and we must now do the job of maintaining and creating new?
