For Minot’s Colin Grubb, this year has been nothing short of defining. After winning a national championship with Shattuck-St. Mary’s 16U team and leading the Under-17 Four Nations Tournament in scoring, the 16-year-old center has committed to play for the University of North Dakota. Calling it “a dream come true,” Grubb joins the program he grew up idolizing, hoping to bring the same grit and skill that made him one of the state’s top young forwards to UND’s storied hockey tradition. Brad Elliott Schlossman with Grand Forks Herald has the full story.
