On This Day | Knocking the Knockers

We had a little snow in September. What country is there that has not had an occasional drawback? These knockers fail to state the good points regarding the country. They do not tell that in one good season a farmer can pay for his whole farm with one crop. They do not tell of the great crops of oats, flax, wheat, vegetables etc. that can be raised here even if the farmers but half do their work. Such people are better out of the country.
