On This Day | In Sore Need of a Crossing

As this city grows more metropolitan, the fact seems to impress itself more forcibly on the minds of our citizens, that the Great Northern should establish a crossing over its tracks that the people residing north of the river may pass across them without endangering their lives. The railroad company will never do this without some vigorous action on the part of the citizens of Minot. A petition to the city council to have them take some action, might have something to do with hurrying this along. The company should establish gates and employ a gateman to keep people from the tracks during the passing of trains.
