On This Day | The Depression Debt That Gets Paid Last

A renewal of effort to collect the delinquent $21,618.19 in student loans at the Minot Teachers college in 1937, was reported by President C. C. Swain. Acting in conjunction with the presidents of the other state institutions of higher education where loans totaling $150,000 were made, two years ago, President Swain is directing the sending of “rather stern” letters to the borrowers reminding them of their obligations.
