On This Day | Calling for a City Minister

We wonder whether the time will ever come when the city of Minot will have a city minister. The city now has a manager, a police chief, a street engineer, a city engineer, a tax assessor, a water department engineer, a water plant manager, a sewer plant operator, an auditor, and so on and so forth, but no city minister.

Why We Chose It
Social challenges have existed in every era, and solutions from inside and outside the government are regularly offered and attempted. Given recent days news regarding Minot's long fight to move our infamous red-light district somewhere else, it's not surprising to see a solution like this proposed.
