Why We Chose It

This was a muddy moment for the Bismarck Tribune editors of the day. On the one hand, they suggested they supported free speech, but not to the point of letting a college President even tolerate an opposing view point on their campus. This editorial might as well have been written yesterday for who commonly we hear it, and though in many respects the protections of free speech have advanced, the barbarians who would take it away are ever at the gates.
