Wages of Minot city employees are now being scrutinized by Minot city councilmen. The local civil service commission on May 7 transmitted to the city council its recommendation as to pay scales, and this scale is the one now being studied. The city officials are now preparing the budget for all of the city’s operation for the fiscal year of July 1, 1951 to July 1, 1952 and the wages of city employees form a bulk of the expenditures in this budget.
