Why We Chose It
At time of this editorial Minot citizens could choose from several local mills from which to buy their flour. But today we have to ask, “what local mills?” It’s both a sign of what’s changed and what we could look to do to improve our own moment in Minot — reinvest in industries that allow us to replace those goods and services we presently import with those that could easily be processed and developed here. There is no better example than flour.
