Whereas, stimulation of ingenuity and enterprise among the youth of our city, and throughout the nation, is one of the principal purposes of this event; therefore be it RESOLVED that I, Maurice Harrington, Mayor of the City of Minot, do now and hereby proclaim that July 25 is Minot Soap Box Derby Day, invite all our citizens to view the event and extend best wishes to all our boys who participate in, this program.
