The Trinity Hospital association, sponsoring Minot’s new $250,000 hospital, is working out the details for launching a drive in Minot Oct. 9 for the purpose of raising approximately $100,000. Of the total cost of the big institution, Minot is expected to contribute $150,000 and of that amount more than $55,000 has already been raised thru voluntary contributions.

Why We Chose It
If you want to see how much health care has changed, look no further than the cost of a hospital and who organized to deliver it. The $250,000 would have translated to around $5,000,000 in today’s dollars. The new Trinity Hospital cost that times 100… And the cost of it is being paid by those who seek care there. In the old days, the community bore much of the upfront cost of the facility.
