THERE ARE NOW 141 LOBBYISTS in the halls of the North Dakota state capitol at Bismarck where the legislature is in session. In 1953, there were 136 registered lobbyists, and the session preceding, 1951, found a total of 112. Capitol observers point out that the number of lobbyists now exceed the number of legislative members. There are 49 members in the state senate and 113 representatives.
