Ninety-two band members from MSTC, a drum major, and four majorettes have been invited to be one of 180 bands throughout the country to appear at the World’s Fair in Seattle this summer. With the exception of one member, all are from North Dakota towns and cities. This band, the only one from North Dakota invited to the fair, plans to leave for Seattle on April 28. Between now and then, $2,000 more monies must be raised, according to Ira Schwartz, director.
