Economywise patrons will begin pouring through the portals of the familiar North Dakota Fairgrounds archways at Minot next Monday. Gates swing wide at 8:00 a.m. July 25 officially opening the 35th annual week-long exposition which fair officials promise will go into the books as the most diversified in history.

Why We Chose It
Pouring through portals they will go… the language is lovely on its own, but the little-big detail that present day Minot has lost… it may not have been “official official” but our event has been the “State” fair for a lot longer than we currently recognize. That’s a miss. The history of a thing adds to it. And the 105th State Fair has a lot more prestige than the 60th.
