The Fair store will occupy the first and mezzanine floors and basement of the new building, while the upper four floors with a total of 20,000 square feet of office space will be devoted to offices for rental purposes. The present Fair shoe store will have to be torn down before construction on the building can begin as well as a small frame building on the corner.
