Why We Chose It
We still hear this argument in all sorts of forms. And whenever it's being made, we can't help but think -- it's obviously both. It's the car and the driver. It's person and the gun. To blame one or absolve another is an over-simplification that can only result in further argument. The the progress that leads to safety is somewhere in the muddy, compromised middle.
