On This Day | This is Starting to Sound Familiar

The tragedy of the Republican administration is that so many of the Republicans now in power in Washington have spent most of the last 20 years standing around criticizing the Democrats that apparently this pastime has, like a narcotic, formed a habit which destroys in them the faculty of good sense. Apparently what we took for honest criticism was simple blackguarding. Apparently those whom we assumed had a better plan for government than the Democrats’ plan have in fact little or no plan at all.
