Why We Chose It

Though the chemical companies always deny responsibility — that’s the responsible decision for their share-holders — there’s plenty of evidence to suggest our pest control methods come with later costs. In 1961, we were just learning this the hard way with DDT. But it’s always a trade-off, and when it comes to food production, we’ve chosen; some of us will die of cancer before many of us die of hunger.
