Why We Chose It
It was in this moment, the 1920s, that wolves were eradicated from the prairie. We’re only now beginning to understand the important role they played in the larger ecosystem. But that does not make reintroduction an easy or accepted decision as we’ve witnessed in our Western mountain neighbors.
