Armed Robbery at North Broadway Loaf & Jug

There’s been yet another robbery in Minot. This one a brazen daylight attack that included a handgun. Full details in the Minot Police Department news release below.

At 5:52 PM, Minot Central Dispatch received a report of a robbery that occurred outside Loaf N Jug at 810 N. Broadway. Officers met with the victim, who stated he was talking with an individual that he knew in the parking lot. While doing so, he was approached by another male that brandished a handgun and demanded his money. The victim had $2700 taken that belonged to the business he works for. The suspect is described as a black male, 6′ to 6’3″, 25-32 yrs of age, facial hair, wearing dark clothing and a hat. It is believed the person the victim was talking to and the suspect know each other. The victim was not injured. Investigation is ongoing.
