Before the Algae: Lake Michigan Discoveries Abound in Crystal Clear Water

There’s a short window each spring after the ice comes off and before the algae starts to bloom when the water is clear. And this year it is really clear. Coast Gaurd flights along the lake shore are observing previously unknown shipwrecks in the depths.
