Friends of the Souris Continue with Part II of Cleaning Up the River

This past Saturday, the Friends of the Souris River organized their second river cleanup in as many months. This effort focused around the now-dead loops in the area of Oak Park and Nubbin Park and the results were dramatic. The final numbers:

• More than 60 Volunteers including 10 kids
• 4.5 tons of trash removed
• 375 garbage bags filled
• 11 Tires Removed
• One Wrestling Trophy
