Good spawning season means 400,000 salmon coming to Lake Sakakawea

Tis the season of salmon spawning and this year has been particularly good. North Dakota Game and Fish recently completed their egg collection operation and were able to deliver nearly 2 million eggs to the Garrison Dam National Fish Hatchery. The result next spring is estimated to be nearly 400,000 young salmon stocked into the lake.
