Helsinki’s Free, City-wide Wi-Fi Network is Faster Than Your Home Internet

One Scandinavian city has identified the Internet as a way to develop economic growth and as such made wi-fi available throughout the city via municipally-managed hot spots that are fast and free. In particular, the service has been heavily used by tourists.
