What? The River That Carved the Grand Canyon Doesn’t Reach the Ocean Anymore?

Chalk it up as one of those interesting and somewhat unbelievable facts, the Colorado river — the one that carved the Grand Canyon — no longer reaches the Sea of Cortez. Well, it didn’t until earlier this year when a pulse of water was released in hopes of revitalizing the lower delta.
