Meet Mike Hayes, the newest member of the Minot City Council
After months of gridlock and tied votes, the Minot City Council finally has a full bench. Mike Hayes, a longtime resident with a background in construction and no political baggage, has been appointed to the long-vacant seventh seat. His selection brings resolution to a five-month impasse and gives the council the majority it needs to move forward. Hayes says he’s not a politician—just someone who wants to do right by Minot.
