Minot Police: Robbery & Aggravated Assault Reports

Minot Police Department have released information on two separate events.

Aggravated Assault & Domestic Violence

Minot Police Officers responded to a North Minot address for a report of a gunshot wound. During the investigation, officers determined a domestic violence incident had occurred. During the incident 21-year old Dalton Gruca retrieved a pistol and shot the female who was involved in this incident.She was taken to Trinity Hospital where she was treated for the gunshot wound and is recovering. Gruca was arrested for aggravated assault and transported to the Ward County Jail.

Robbery at Bootlegrz

Officers from the police department responded to Bootlegrz Bar to investigate a report of a robbery. The 25-year old victim was a patron at the bar and walked outside at bar closing. He was confronted by two black males, one struck him in the head with a bottle causing injury. One of the suspects took the victim’s wallet from his pocket and they fled from the scene in a vehicle. This incident is still under investigation. Further details will be released when they become available. Anyone having information about this incident is asked to contact the police department.
