Party City, once the life of many celebrations, is closing its doors for good. As of December 20, CEO Barry Litwin informed employees that the company would halt operations immediately. Known as the go-to store for party supplies, Party City boasted over 850 locations across the U.S. during its prime. Earlier this year, they filed for bankruptcy and planned a comeback. Unfortunately, the plan unraveled, leaving stores to shut down.

Party City has a store at Dakota Square in Minot.
