Tom Joyce to become interim City Manager in Minot, Harold Stewart leaving early
Harold Stewart’s time as Minot’s city manager is ending a little earlier than planned. With a unanimous vote and a handshake agreement, the City Council approved a mutual early departure, allowing Stewart to begin his next chapter in Pasco, Washington. Assistant City Manager Tom Joyce will step in while a search begins for Stewart’s successor. The decision saves the city money and gives Stewart a head start—and despite differing views at times, council members made clear their respect and appreciation for his service.
