President Trump has given Ukraine until November 27 to accept a sweeping peace proposal that would hand Russia the entire Donbas region—including areas Ukraine still controls—and freeze the war along current lines. The 28-point plan, negotiated largely without European input, would cap Ukraine’s military, shelve NATO membership, and ease sanctions on Moscow in exchange for pledges not to attack again. Zelensky called it “one of the most difficult moments” for Ukraine, caught between losing territory or losing American support. Tim Zadorozhnyy with The Kyiv Independent has the full story.
