Williston chamber of commerce to host forum for locals planning to run for office
Running for office can feel daunting, but in Williston, there’s a new way to learn the ropes — with coffee and conversation. The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting its second “Policies & Pastries” forum, a monthly series designed to help potential candidates understand the ins and outs of campaigning and public service. Featuring Secretary of State Michael Howe and County Commissioner Steve Kemp, the November 6 event offers a down-to-earth introduction to civic leadership — and maybe the first step toward the 2026 ballot.
