League of Women Voters of Plum Valley Host “Light For Our Democracy” Event Tuesday

The League of Women Voters of Plum Valley, in collaboration with the Minot Human Rights Coalition, is inviting the community to gather for a Light for Our Democracy event at Minot City Hall on Tuesday evening. Timed with President Trump’s address to Congress, the event aligns with nationwide gatherings aimed at fostering reflection, action, and solidarity.

“Democracy is not just what we have. It’s who we are,” the local League of Women Voters stated in a news release. “It’s the promise that we, the people, have the power to shape our destiny. Let’s stand together, not as Democrats or Republicans, but as Americans united by our shared commitment to freedom, justice and equality. The road ahead may be challenging, but we walk it together.
