One would naturally suppose that a salesman would receive a rather cool reception from farmers at the present time. On the contrary, we find they are very much interested in our wind-driven electric-farm power plant. They are realizing the value of electricity on the farm, and the idea of utilizing wind power for its generation particularly appeals to them. With a return to normal conditions, we anticipate a wide-spread demand for wind-driven electric plants.

Why We Chose It
Today we can’t even talk about wind energy without starting some sort of partisan fight, but in it’s early days, the concept seemed to make a lot of sense to farmers. Also noteworthy — there was no explanation of how the rivet came to be in the young girl’s esophagus. Probably because horrific accidents like there were rather common in the earlier days on the prairie. Perhaps not all of the regulations we’ve place on products to make them safer are a bad thing.
