Minot area transit primed to coordinate
Minot may be closer than ever to a more connected future in public transit — not by building something new, but by better linking what already exists. At a regional meeting this week, local and state leaders discussed ways to coordinate existing rural and city bus systems, strengthen links with Amtrak and Jefferson Lines, and expand routes across northwest North Dakota. The goal is simple but significant: make it easier for people — especially seniors, workers, and low-income residents — to move smoothly across the region.
