1st Helena Youth Battle of the Bands an ‘absolute smash,’ organizer says
Helena’s first Youth Battle of the Bands proved that local talent is alive and loud. On Aug. 19, a sold-out crowd packed The Myrna Loy as young musicians delivered two-song sets that drew cheers fit for seasoned pros. From rock to indie, each band left it all on stage, with prizes ranging from instruments to a coveted recording session.
