Minot is poised to add a major new chapter to its growing arts and culture scene. Local Motives has secured a multi-year national grant that will bring a free outdoor music series to Citizens Alley from 2026 through 2028—an investment that places Minot alongside cities across the country using live music to strengthen downtowns and build shared community spaces. The award marks a significant win for local supporters who rallied behind the effort and reflects the rising energy around public placemaking in the Magic City.
