Why We Chose It

In 2025 dollars, the $1,500 issuance fee is equal to about $22,000 today. The annual fee of $1,000 in 1947 amounts to about $14,500 in 2025. Currently, the annual renewal fee is approximately $3,200. And there’s a debate about the value of a license, but one proposal deliver a value of $125,000 to license holders. The proposal was not received happily.
