What has the west coast got that we haven’t got . . . there is still a mild exodus to the west coast . . . slow to move, serious thinking people both here and there forecast disaster for many who go to that area . . . now, particularly . . . and there is a good deal to be done that might prove more profitable here . . . in the long run . . . .

Why We Chose It
North Dakota continues to hemorrhage talented people to other places. If there is one challenge we need to keep chipping at, it's this one. Our economy, our institutions, our businesses, they all require people, and the cost of losing them is hard to calculate.
