Young entrepreneurs shine at Children’s Business Fair in Steinbach
Clearspring Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba may be a long drive from Minot, but the spirit behind its Children’s Business Fair strikes close to home. The event drew 45 young vendors this year, each testing out the basics of entrepreneurship with handmade crafts, baked goods, and even kid-run pizza shops. What stood out wasn’t just the creativity, but the confidence these students gained by setting prices, serving customers, and putting their ideas on the line. It’s a reminder that communities thrive when kids get early chances to build, create, and try something real — a lesson that resonates well even across borders.
