Arrest Made in March Overdose Incident in Minot

The Minot Police Department has made an arrest in connection with a March overdose incident in northwest Minot.

On March 7, 2025, officers responded to a reported overdose at a residence, where they found a 31-year-old woman, identified as Jane Doe. With assistance from Trinity First Response Ground, the victim was transported to Trinity Hospital for further evaluation. She survived the overdose.

Following an investigation that included interviews, analysis of cell phone data, and the execution of search warrants, authorities identified Mylin G. Wicker, 43, of Minot, as the individual responsible for supplying the narcotics involved in the incident.

On June 18, 2025, Wicker was served with an arrest warrant for Delivery of a Controlled Substance Resulting in Death or Injury, a Class A Felony. At the time the warrant was served, Wicker was already in custody at the Ward County Jail on unrelated drug charges.

The investigation is ongoing.
