Minot Police Provide Update on Nov. 7 Homicide

The Minot Police Department continues to investigate the homicide that occurred during the early morning hours of Friday, November 7, 2025, in northeast Minot.
The victim has been identified as Anthony William Redmond, a 27-year-old Minot resident. Redmond died as a result of injuries sustained from a stabbing. No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains active.
The Minot Police Department appreciates the public’s continued cooperation and assistance as this investigation progresses.
11/7 Update
The Minot Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance as part of the ongoing investigation into the homicide that occurred earlier this morning, Friday, November 7, 2025, in northeast Minot.
Investigators are asking any residents in the area of 3rd Street NE to Broadway, between 4th, 5th, and 6th Avenues NE, between the hours of 5:30 a.m. and 6:15 a.m., to review any Ring or other home security camera footage for possible activity in the area. Anyone who has captured video is asked to submit footage. Information can be shared through the public submission portal: https://minotpdnd.evidence.com/axon/community-request/public/11_7_25.
“Our investigators are working diligently to piece together the events of this morning,” said Deputy Chief Dale Plessas. “We’re asking anyone who may have seen or heard something unusual to reach out. Even a small detail could prove critical in helping us bring clarity to this case.”

The Minot Police Department is actively investigating a homicide that occurred earlier this morning in the 500 block of 2nd Street NE in Minot. At this time, investigators have no reason to believe this was a random incident. Additional details will be provided as the investigation continues.
