Broadway Circle gets new operator
Minot’s Broadway Circle will now be operated by Pathfinder Services of North Dakota. The City Council approved the agreement Monday, selecting Pathfinder over one other applicant. The organization will manage the family homeless shelter, a 17-unit apartment complex, and a commercial space that includes a restaurant and food pantry. The city took back control of the project after previous operators, Lutheran Social Services and Project BEE, exited due to financial issues. Pathfinder will pay $5,000 per month in lease payments and manage the site for 20 years as required by federal grant terms. Jill Schramm with Minot Daily News has the full story.
