A Minot nonprofit that supports children entering foster care is taking a meaningful step forward—by turning a house into a place of comfort, stability, and connection. CASO, which began just a year ago providing clothing and essentials, is now preparing a home that will serve three purposes: an expanded foster closet, a safe temporary space for children awaiting placement, and visitation rooms for families. Funded entirely by community support, the effort aims to make a painful moment less traumatic and give local families the support they often struggle to find. Kyona Rivera with KMOT has the full story.
