FAA staffing cuts: Minot airport gives a statement
Minot International Airport is reassuring travelers that its operations won’t be affected by the FAA’s decision to cut staffing at select air traffic control facilities nationwide. Because Minot’s tower is staffed by contract employees—not federal controllers—the airport falls outside the agency’s 10% workforce reduction. Still, passengers headed to or from major connecting hubs like Minneapolis, Denver, or Las Vegas could feel the ripple effects through delays or cancellations.
