Fire Department Responds to Mobile Home Blaze in Minot, No Injuries Reported

On January 12, at approximately 5:26 p.m., the Minot Fire Department responded to a report of smoke filling a mobile home located at 1500 18th St SW #40.

Engine 1 arrived on the scene and confirmed visible smoke coming from the structure. Crews verified that no occupants were inside before entering the home to conduct a thorough search and locate the source of the fire.

Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames concentrated at the rear of the home, as well as fire beneath the structure and within its walls. Crews remained on the scene for over an hour to extinguish the fire.

The residence sustained extensive damage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
