Vehicle Fire Extinguished in Southeast Minot Parking Lot

Minot firefighters quickly put out a vehicle fire late Sunday night in southeast Minot. According to the Minot Fire Department, crews were dispatched at about 11:17 p.m. to a report of a vehicle on fire in a hotel parking lot. Engine 2 arrived within five minutes and found the front of the vehicle fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters confirmed the vehicle was unoccupied and were able to contain the fire to the vehicle itself, as it was not near any buildings or other cars. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
