Former ND game and fish director charged with sex crime
For many in North Dakota, the name Terry Steinwand was tied to the outdoors—he spent more than a decade leading the state’s Game and Fish Department. Now, his reputation faces a very different spotlight. Steinwand, 71, has been arrested and charged with gross sexual imposition involving a child under 15, an allegation that could carry a life sentence if proven. His initial court appearance was held September 8, and he remains in custody as the case moves forward. Joshua Mathisen with KX News has the full story.
